Services

One system, from structure to move-in.

NBS combines engineering, design, and systems thinking so a home is delivered as a coordinated product instead of a collection of disconnected decisions.

1

Steel-Frame Engineering

Precision-engineered structural design for durability and compliance.

Steel framing is where NBS starts. Cold-formed steel members are engineered for each project's site conditions and assembled in a consistent sequence, so structure, walls, and openings are designed together from the beginning.

  • Engineered per project against site and regional conditions
  • Designed for dimensional precision and repeatable assembly
  • Structural drawings coordinated with permitting requirements

Technical layer

Inside the wall assembly

A simplified cross-section of an NBS steel-framed wall, from exterior cladding to interior finish. Final specifications are defined per project.

  • Exterior cladding

    Weather-facing finish layer

  • Sheathing + weather barrier

    Bracing and moisture protection

  • Steel structural stud

    Cold-formed steel framing member

  • Insulation cavity

    Thermal and acoustic fill

  • Interior sheathing

    Gypsum board substrate

  • Interior finish

    Paint-ready interior surface

Installation sequence

  1. 01

    Foundation layout

Anchor points are set out to match the engineered framing plan.

  2. 02

    Frame assembly

Steel members are assembled into wall and floor panels.

  3. 03

    Panel erection

Panels are set, plumbed, and braced in sequence.

  4. 04

    Structural fastening

Connections are fastened per the structural drawings.

  5. 05

    System integration

Wall, roof, and opening systems are coordinated onto the frame.

2

Customization

Modern architectural layouts tailored to your vision and needs.

The NBS models are starting points. Layouts, openings, and finishes can be adapted to your lot, orientation, and household — while the underlying system keeps the engineering consistent.

  • Adapt a model or start from your own brief
  • Openings and glazing planned with the structure
  • Design and engineering developed together, not in sequence
3

Fabrication

Precision-manufactured components produced to the engineered drawings.

Once the structure is engineered, NBS components are fabricated to the project drawings. Manufacturing in a controlled setting supports dimensional precision and repeatable assembly.

  • Components produced to the engineered drawings
  • Precision manufacturing for dimensional accuracy
  • Parts organized for a consistent assembly sequence
