About NBS
Why NBS exists.
The problem
Home construction is complicated, fragmented, and hard to predict.
Coordinating dozens of independent materials, suppliers, contractors, and decisions makes residential construction slow and uncertain — for the people building the home and the people who will live in it.
The idea
Treat the home as a coordinated product, not a collection of disconnected activities.
NBS borrows a systems approach from engineering and product design: components that are designed to work together from the start, instead of materials specified one at a time.
The approach
Engineer systems. Package components. Simplify decisions. Connect suppliers.
We start with steel framing and the wall systems around it, and expand the product line as each system is proven.
The vision
Make better building technology accessible to more people.
Beginning in Mexico City, Hidalgo, Querétaro, and Puebla, NBS is building a network designed to scale to more regions over time.
Mexico
Designed for the way Mexico builds.
NBS is starting in four regions, with a network designed to grow as local construction partners and suppliers join.
